In May 2010, Black Diamond and Gregory were acquired in two separate transactions by Clarus Corporation (see our story). Clarus, which has since renamed itself Black Diamond (Nasdaq BDE), is moving ahead with the integration and relocating some of Gregory's operations to the Black Diamond headquarters in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Gregory will remain an independent brand and work from its own newly remodeled space on the Black Diamond campus. Gregory’s production facility in Calexico, California will remain in operation.
