Teva has announced their re-launch in Japan to be available at retail March 2012. The launch kicked off with a celebration in in Roppongi, Tokyo and the announcement that Japanese rafting team Teikei will join Teva's team of athletes. The “Teva 2012 Launch Presentation” surrounded attendees with imagery highlighting Teva athletes and the 2012 collection with a 360-degree LED monitor setup that covered the hall.

Jeff Lenosky, freeride mountain biker and Teva athlete joined in the festivities as well. Teva also made new additions to their group of athletes with the Teikei rafting team who have won the Teva World Rafting Championships for the past two years.

 

Japan has an interest in the outdoors but also the desire for something different according to Deckers Japan General Manager, Teruki Ito. He believes Teva can revolutionize the Japanese outdoor space.
