This May, Marmot will give Velocity Sales exclusive representation of their brand throughout the Northeastern region. Outgoing representative John Bragg, principle of the Franconia Group and the company's first and longest serving sales representative, is working with Velocity to ensure a smooth transition for the brand.
"It was exciting to be there at the birth of such a great brand—to help it grow and flourish while keeping true to the core mission," explains Bragg, who is now looking forward to pursuing his writing and climbing career. "It has been an honor to represent Marmot for so long, and it has been a privilege to work with so many wonderful people. I’m also very pleased to be working with Bill Bruzzese and Mike Schmidt of Velocity Sales of Stowe, Vermont to help transition them as the new Marmot representatives in the territory.”
With over 20 years of outdoor business experience, the incoming Velocity Sales group will represent Marmot with over 150 retailers throughout Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont and Manhattan.
The Franconia Group will continue to represent Scarpa and Ski Trab in New England.
