Vibram Opens Flagship Retail Store in Boston
Vibram opened its first retail store in Boston on April 14, 2012 with a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
With the vision of creating a brand experience where visitors can learn about Vibram and the benefits of minimalist footwear, the flagship store features “experimental zones” that allow visitors to test FiveFingers on inlaid marbles, woodchips, grass, and a bumpy subway yellow line.
The store reflects the company’s outdoor and Italian heritage, with a timeline area summarizing the company’s 70-year legacy in sole design, a living plant wall, and complimentary espresso.
In addition to select models of Vibram FiveFingers, there is also a showcase of sole customers rotating through for viewing.
