Sherpa Adventure Gear has named Bradshaw Taylor as its new distributor for the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and mainland Europe. The agreement allows Bradshaw Taylor to manage sales, marketing, distribution and logistics for the European countries except Italy and Austria. Products from the brand will begin arriving in stores next fall.
Bradshaw Taylor will bring distribution of Sherpa Adventure Gear into untapped markets beyond its current sales network spanning a number of countries ranging from to Canada to South Africa, Bolivia to Dubai. Fittingly, the company sells through three Sherpa Adventure Gear stores in Nepal as well.
Based in England, Bradshaw Taylor carries a portfolio with other outdoor brands including Icebreaker, Keen, Royal Robbins and Timbuk2.
President of Sherpa Adventure Gear, Tashi Sherpa, was convinced after numerous conversations with Bradshaw Taylor that they would be an excellent partner for the new international markets.
Corry Taylor, managing director of Bradshaw Taylor, is pleased to carry Sherpa Adventure Gear, citing that working Sherpas test all the products on the mountain for a minimum of six months. To help create the brand story and launch Sherpa Adventure Gear, Bradshaw Taylor has signed Kenton Cool and Neil Gresham, two world-class climbers.
Cool has reached the summit of Everest nine times, even twice in the same week. Gresham is a recognized climber in his own right and has worked as a tech-rep and professional athlete for Bradshaw Taylor since 2000.
