Sanitized has launched Sanitized T20-19 in the North American market. The new antimicrobial textile-finishing product was specifically developed for cellulose (cotton and cotton blend) items that require high-wash durability—including underwear, outerwear and outdoor wear, as well as technical textiles such as those found in filter systems and non-wovens.
Sanitized T20-19 is easy to apply during either the pad or the exhaust processes, and seeks to provided a less expensive high-wash durability. It contains antimicrobial quaternary ammonia salt which destabilizes the bacterial cell wall and deactivates bacteria that cause unpleasant odors. It also serves as a chemical anchor through organic silicium, which forms a stable and therefore highly wash-resistant bond with all fibers containing cellulose.
Sanitized T20-19 carries an eco-friendly Bluesign approval and the Oeko-Tex, standard 100 (class I-IV) indicating it has undergone stringent quality tests.
