Montane is releasing a new jacket for Spring/Summer 2011 named the Spektr Smock, a minimalist shell based on the Event technology. Weighing in at 7.4 oz (210 g), the Spektr incorporates a ‘tornado’ roll closer system as opposed to a zipper system. The jacket, designed for ultra assaults and mountain marathons, is distributed in the US by Sport Hansa LLC.
