Liberating women's yoga brand, Lululemon, has accidentally taken liberation to a whole new level with its black yoga pants. A spokesman from the brand explains that due to a factory error, certain shipments of product available in store since March 1, 2013 do not meet “technical specifications.”
This reportedly affects 17 percent of Lululemon's yoga pants offering. Anyone who purchased yoga pants since March 1st is eligible for a full refund. It’s going to have a real impact on the company, reports WSJ’s Kristin Jones: (Lululemon has a See-through Yoga Pants Problem)
"Shares fell 4.8% to $62.75 after hours, as the Canadian company said that its fiscal first-quarter same-store sales and revenue would suffer as a result. The company had previously expected revenue of $350 million to $355 million with same-store sales growth of 11%."
