Hestra glove brand has designed a line for 2012 that, they believe, will provide more warmth and functionality than ever before. The 75 year-old brand will offer their new patented Ergo Grip technology, a partnership with Swisswool, new colors and models, plus updated designs.
The Ergo Grip is a patented development process that makes it possible to sew gloves with different levels of pre-curved fingers. Ergo Grip is designed to provide a close fit on the palm with little excess material and will come in three new styles, freeride, spring skiing and downhill racing.
Hestra's partnership with Swisswool will help the glove maker provide insulation that is natural, free of toxins, ecological and warm. Swisswool fill is also designed to be breathable, moisture wicking, machine washable and will be offered in a variety of gloves.
Among the new offerings will be four models of a redesigned heated glove, three of them available stateside including a new mitt option. The gloves will stay warm for eight hours with their Thermic heating system.
Colors will also expand in correlation with the offerings. The collection can be previewed at OR (Booth #38126).
