180s is making strides with their largest product launch to date and largest U.S. consumer marketing campaign. It is also introducing its performance winter apparel and proprietary Quantumheat thermal technology.
To continue this growth 180s has bolstered its product design and sales teams and invested in technology development for year-round product focused on performance athletes.
The new technology, Quantumheat will use thermal technology designed to convert body heat, moisture and natural infrared rays into thermal energy. To manage moisture the fabric will have smart moisture management fibers designed to absorb 100 percent of sweat every two seconds. The technology will have a technical fabric composition to provide warmth and freedom without bulk. Quantumheat will be featured in base layers, jackets, vests, arm and leg sleeves, gloves, ear warmers, hats and socks for fall 2012.
For the consumer marketing campaign, 180s has invested in TV, print and increased online visibility. The brand will also use experiential marketing and event sponsorships to speak to the outdoor athlete.
