La Sportiva will debut a full line of technical ski mountaineering apparel at the 2012 OR Winter Market, SIA Snowshow, and ISPO Munich tradeshows. The brand used their team of designers in the Dolomites, gathering feedback from ski mountaineers to design light and efficient apparel. The first to distribute the line which includes hard shells, soft shells, insulating mid layers, and performance base layers will be specialty outdoor retails stores where the brand's recognition is strong.

Gore-tex will factor-in heavily with La Sportiva's apparel, featured in the men's Storm Fighter jacket and pants. The combination is designed to be one of the lightest, fully waterproof breathable jacket and pant combinations on the market. The apparel line will complement the ski mountaineering hardgoods La Sportiva debuted from last year.
