Nemo Wants Everyone to Get On Board With Tent Topographics
Dover, N.H. – Outdoor equipment manufacturer Nemo is working with the Outdoor Industry Association’s (OIA) ASTM Working Group to change the way tent manufacturers communicate product specs.
Typically the only information available to consumers when purchasing a tent are the weight, floor area and peak height. However, the folks at Nemo believe this doesn’t fully capture the livable space of a tent.

Steamboat Springs, CO – Honey-based nutritional product producer Honey Stinger has added to its line new caffeinated cherry cola flavor chews. Consumer feedback led to the addition of a caffeinated option to the line. The caffeine content of the chews is derived from white tea and the product is gluten-free and 95 percent organic.
Portland, OR – To promote the release of Columbia’s Omni-Freeze Zero technology, Columbia has invested in a multi-channel marketing campaign with ESPN across television, print and digital media. The company is also sending out branded ice cream trucks to over 100 stops at major sporting events, festivals and retailers from April through June. The “Omni-Freeze Zero Tour” will allow consumers to handle the product and see it in action.
Burnaby, BC – Canadian running, cycling and triathlon apparel brand Sugoi has teamed up with Ironman in North America and Europe as the official apparel. For three years to come, Sugoi will serve Ironman’s efforts to enhance apparel options for athletes by providing extensive jersey customization. The brand has also launched an exclusive line of men’s and women’s bike and run gear dubbed M-DOT. The elite Ironman Executive Challenge program will also be outfitted by Sugoi, which will provide every participant with custom apparel.
