Kokatat, the 39-year-old independent watersports apparel and accessories company, has recently named Jeff Turner the new Sales and Marketing Manager.Turner has over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and general management leadership roles in the outdoor and specialty sports industries. He spent 6 years at Swiss Army Brands/Victorinox as VP of marketing, director of sales and marketing for Horny Toad Activewear, and general manager of Nikon Eyewear.
His responsibilities with Kokatat will be on the domestic and global scale for the company’s paddlesports business. “We will be initially focused on the development and implementation of our long term strategic marketing and sales plan, supporting the continued success of the global Kokatat brand,” said Turner.
Immediately prior to relocating to the Redwoods in Arcata, California, where Kokatat started and has remained for 40 years, Jeff attended the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2010 to begin his new role. “In Salt Lake I was able to see the extent and depth of the respect for the Kokatat brand, team and products,” he says.
