Mountain Hardwear Youth Athlete Breaks Record

Matt Moniz and fatherMatt Moniz, a youth Mountain Hardwear athlete, broke the speed record for summiting the 50 highest points in all 50 states. The duration of Moniz’s race was 43 days, 3 hours, 51 minutes and 9 seconds, which he achieved with his father running along side of him the whole race. Matt’s adventure has also been aimed at increasing awareness of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), and raising funds for his affected friend Ian Hess.
