Ibex Outdoor Clothing has named Sam Lothrop their new men’s designer. Lothrop’s new role entails designing men’s outerwear, base layers, accessories, riding gear and fabrics made from merino-wool and organic cotton.
Previously, Lothrop was the design director at Moncler Gamme Bleu in Milan, Italy. Additional accomplishments include designing styles and concepts for the first Brooks Brothers Black Fleece collection, as well as Moonstone and Thom Browne. Lothrop’s career began at Ibex in April 2010 as a freelance designer, and he assisted in the creation of their men’s 2011 fall line.
