To Support Continued Growth Black Diamond Announces New Hires and Promotions

Black DiamondSalt Lake City, UT – To bolster the company’s continued growth, Black Diamond, Inc. announced a number of promotions and new hires. These promotions and hires will occupy newly created positions and augment a new apparel team.

Mark Ritchie has been promoted to occupy the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer. Ritchie has been working for nearly 20 years leading the global operational platform of Black Diamond Equipment, Gregory Mountain Products and now POC.

Other promotions include Zach Posner to the position VP of information technologies. Wim de Jager has been promoted to managing director of Black Diamond Equipment Asia, Lauri Hawkins to director of sourcing developing for apparel, Doug Heinrich to director of line planning and Kasey Jarvis to director of design.

Fresh hires to newly created positions include Laura Deuser as an apparel textile engineer on the apparel team, Joe Moak as design engineer and Sven Mostoegl joins Black Diamond Europe as the apparel product manager.
