Sierra Club Mission Outdoors Announced New Director

Sierra ClubThe Sierra Club announced Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran and Bronze Star recipient Stacy Bare as the new director of Mission Outdoors, the Sierra Club’s initiative to connect people with nature. Bare initially joined the Sierra Club Mission Outdoors team to expand the Military Families and Veterans Initiative.

Bare will now lead the Sierra Club’s effort to connect people with the outdoors through direct programming, public education and advocacy. Mission Outdoors’ programs engage more than 250,000 people in outdoor experience each year.
