Klean Kanteen Hires Scott McGuire as New Sales Director

Klean Kanteen announced the appointment of Scott McGuire as the new Director of Sales on April 18, 2012.

McGuire brings over twenty years of experience in the outdoor and consumer products industry. He has worked for an array of companies, including Keen, Ahnu, Deckers with Teva, Simple, and Ugg. Most recently, he served as the Director of Equipment at The North Face.

McGuire’s position will focus on driving international growth by creating a global sales strategy.

“What drew me to Klean Kanteen was the people and passion for the brand . . . As we move forward, I am energized by the potential for Klean Kanteen to further its initial impact in bottles, as well as develop new channels and products that give the consumers an alternative to the wasteful practice of disposable plastic,” stated McGuire.

Since it was founded in 2004, Klean Kanteen has experienced substantial growth due to increased awareness of everyday toxins such as BPA and the environmental damage caused by the disposal of single-use products.
