Industry Veteran Tom Mendl Joins Bemis Associates as Director of Marketing for Apparel and Footwear

Tom Mendl has been select by Bemis Associates Inc. as director of marketing for apparel and footwear. He joins the team with over 20 years of industry experience, most recently serving as director of sales and marketing for Vibram China where he lead the launch of Soles and FiveFingers into mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Before Vibram, Mendl worked at Albany International Corp where he contributed to the brand success of Primaloft and at Malden Mills where he worked with Polartec. He also served on the board of OIA for six years, two of those as vice-chairman.

At Bemis Mendl will be responsible for directing strategic and tactical marketing programs that drive apparel and footwear initiatives.
