Chris Speak has been tapped by Jansport as director of sales. Speak has a long history with the backpack, travel and apparel brand.
He worked for Jansport from 2000 to 2007 but most recently served as global sales director for Vasque at Red Wing Shoe Co. Speak brings nearly 20 years of experience to Jansport.
As director of sales Speak will manage several groups of independent sales reps across North America while facilitating relationships with partners and growing the Jansport equipment sector. Speak will be based in Minneapolis, MN and report to Rico Pasqualini, vice president of sales at Jansport.
Speak's experience has been recognized with notable achievements including the 2004 VF Corporation Excellence Award and the inaugural SGB 40 Under 40 Award in 2008.
