American Rec, a parent company for 12 outdoor brands including Sierra Designs, Kelty and Isis has hired Scott Kaier to the newly created in-house public relations manager position.

Kaier is relocating from Vermont to Boulder, CO. He has begun his new position and is responsible for public relations and media communication for all of the American Rec brands. Kaier will work with primary focus on the aforementioned three brands plus Ultimate Direction, Slumberjack and American Rec corporate PR. American Rec will benefit from Kaier's prior experience, six years at Pale Morning Media. While there Kaier worked closely with Kelty and Sierra designs.

Kaier sees American Rec as a great opportunity with their strong collection of brands and qualified teams of development and sales. He cannot wait to contribute in his new position but gave a nod of appreciation to Drew Simmons and Pale Morning Media for the last six years.
