Keen has announced Ron Hill has joined the team as its new Vice President for Merchandising. Hill has three decades of leadership roles in product merchandising with brands such as Nordstorm and Nike. James Curleigh, Keen's CEO looks forward to Hill's impact on the product development team with his proven track record of success.
Hill will be responsible for strengthening Keen's relationship with its customers while maximizing the product line for retailers. Hill will also coordinate product planning with Keen's executive committee comprised of Kelly Wallrich, VP of Product Design and Development; Russ Hopcus, VP Sales and Market Development; and Phyllis Grove, VP of Marketing. An Oregon native, Hill began working for Nordstrom at 15 and worked to help build the company's reputation for shoe merchandising. Hill also worked at Nike for 26 years and contributed to product planning and development. He and his wife have five children and all enjoy traveling, having taken three different road trips across the U.S.
