Black Diamond Equipment is making several new hires to newly created positions in order to develop its sales and marketing teams for continued growth.

Bob Jones joins the sales team in the new position of DTC sales director. He will oversee all non-wholesale sales function, which includes mail order, Pro Purchase and the retail store. Linda Karz takes the role of retail store manager. She will revitalize the Salt Lake City retail shop.

Brad Barlage has been promoted to sales manager of the equipment climbing line. A sales rep of over 12 years, he will manage the climbing category business across North America. Ryan Gellert, who has been with the company for over 10 years, has been promoted to vice president of the supply chain. Rosalie Mark is now vice president of human resources, after serving as senior director of human resources for the past 11 months.

Saskia Stock joins Black Diamond Europe as the marketing director. She most recently served as managing director for Somnio Europe. Back in Salt Lake City, Laura Fryer will serve as director of marketing. She brings over 5 years experience as marketing manager at La Sportiva North America, and will cover marketing planning in every aspect.
