Bobbie Parisi has been named Yakima's new director of global marketing. She brings 25 years of experience in global brands from Nike to Jose Cuervo and experience with outdoor brands Horny Toad and Keen. Besides brand experience, Parisi is no stranger to the outdoor industry, having served on the board of the Outdoor Industry Association. Plus, she also enjoys skiing, hiking and golfing.
The vehicle rack company will look to Parisi's expertise to help maintain growth from last year's record sales. In her new position Parisi will control all marketing initiatives, including branding integrations, public relations, strategic partnerships, digital marketing and retailer communications.
This move comes at a particularly important time for Yakima with the launch of their new Whispbar racks, acquisition of Hubco and recent global marketplace momentum. Parisi, who graduated with a B.S. Degree in marketing from St. Cloud State University will look to continue the Yakima's success.
Parisi has garnered a number of profession awards including Brandweek's “Marketing's Most Wanted” for her work with Jose Cuervo and was named one of the “50 Most Innovative Marketers” by Advertising Age for her work on Keen’s sustainability program, STAND.
