Amer Sports Selects Andy Towne as President of Apparel
Amer Sports, parent company of several brands including Arc'teryx and Salomon, has chosen Andy Towne to be the president of apparel and a member of the Executive Board. The decision was based on the company’s desire for faster growth in softgoods and consumer-centric products.
The current president of apparel and footwear, Jean-Marc Pambet, will continue as president of footwear and of Salomon. Before Amer Sports, Towne worked as the CEO of Musto Ltd. Prior to that, he served as vice president of marketing and product in Europe for Reebok International and at Helly Hansen as vice president of global marketing and product.


Outdoor Research has undergone a restructuring, creating a new vice president role that will more closely link product development with its brand heritage.
Reid Swanson and Tory Jackson have joined GU Energy Labs.
