For the third year in a row, Invista's Corudra brand team is sponsoring Backpacker Magazine’s Get Out More Tour. Expanded by approximately 25 more stops, this year's tour is stopping at more than 70 outdoor specialty retailers and events. Get Out More 2010 kicked off on Tuesday, April 6 in Branford, CT, and will conclude on Saturday, December 11 in Jacksonville, FL.
Through the Get Out More Tour, Cordura is heightening awareness of the versatility of its fabrics by featuring the brands that use them. This year’s product line-up includes:

At cordura.com, end-users of the fabric can learn more about Invista’s fabric technology and the benefits of using products made with Cordura fabric. One component, the ineractve Durability Experience, allows users to choose from seven characters, ranging from hiker to office worker to skateboarder. Then, using 360 degree rotation, users can view the character wearing a variety of clothing and gear made with Cordura fabrics, complete with features and descriptions. As part of the mobile marketing tour, the Backpacker Get Out More road team is hosting a series of interactive tutorials, retail workshops, and outdoor excursions to provide an inside look into the latest outdoor products and trends in the industry. Designed to bring the pages of Backpacker magazine to life, the Get Out More Tour delivers real-life experiences, product demonstrations and tips straight from the editors to provide audiences with the practical techniques and skills for their outdoor adventures. In addition to the seminars and excursions, audiences will enjoy the opportunity to win a variety of outdoor prizes.
