Scarpa North America Begins Sponsorship of Alpine World Ascents

Scarpa North America has been named the official footwear sponsor for Alpine World Ascents, a mountain guide service based out of Boulder, Colorado. The guide service runs trips in rock and alpine climbing and ski-mountaineering in the Front Range and globally.

Under the new sponsorship Alpine World Ascent's footwear will be exclusively Scarpa products for both clients and guides. Alpine World Ascents only hires guides that are trained by the American Mountain Guides Association or International Federation of Mountain Guides Association.

Fifteen year owner of the guide service Markus Beck, a native of Switzerland is pleased with the performance and quality of the footwear. Beck first used Scarpa boots in his homeland to guide several big routes in the Alps.
