Wolverine Worldwide has reported record financial results for the third quarter as ended September 10, 2011. Driven in part by success from the Outdoor Group, the company has seen double-digit growth in both revenue and earnings per share as well as record operating margin.
Revenue is up 13% from the prior year, at $361.6 million. This marks the fifth consecutive quarter of record revenue for the company. Wolverine also reported the seventh consecutive quarter of record earnigns per share, up to 82 cents (a 17% increase).
The Outdoor Group (consisting of Merrell footwear and apparel, Chaco and Patagonia footwear) saw revenue growth of 20%.
