Grassroots Outdoor Alliance, Patagonia and Aron Ralston to Raise Funds for SUWA
Aron Ralston, the famed adventurer from the film 127 Hours, will make an appearance in Utah during the 2012 Grassroots Outdoor Alliance Show this June.
On June 13th at 7:30 p.m., Ralston will recount his experiences during a special presentation with an autograph session to follow, and on the 14th at 8 p.m., a screening of the Oscar-nominated movie will be held at Peery's Egyptian Theater in Ogden.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance (SUWA). Patagonia has agreed to match Grassroots' contribution of $5,000 to SUWA if the event sells out.
