The International Mountain Bicycling Association and Clif Bar announced a sponsorship agreement for 2010 which includes Trail Preservation Grants. These ten $500 grants will be awarded by IMBA to affiliated clubs to support projects that preserve and enhance trail access, promote environmental education and inspire conservation in the mountain bicycling community. Clif Bar also makes product samples available to support IMBA affiliates' volunteer trailwork projects nationwide.
IMBA clubs donate close to one million hours of volunteer service to public lands each year. Since 1995, Clif Bar & Co. has donated nearly $200,000 and more than 100,000 Clif Bars to support IMBA volunteer trailbuilding and environmental service projects.
