Cynthia Surette, Director of Design at Chaos Headwear, has received the Hat Life Award for the environment and snow industry category.  

She is responsible for Chaos' environmentally friendly Green Label Collection and Enviro-Tech line.

The Chaos Green Label incorporates sustainable fibers such as organic cotton, hemp and wool. Only ‘low impact dyes' are used, which have less toxic run-off, and non-chemical dyes made from vegetable and root powders. Hats and are made with soda-bottle spun plastic, and each product in this category is lined with recycled fleece.
