Suunto has added freeskier Julian Carr to its professional athlete team to represent the outdoor and training categories.

Known as the Flying Yeti, Utah-based Carr pushes the limits of extreme skiing with cliff drops, freeski competition podiums and visibility in major ski films.

Carr is an active member on Suunto’s online sports community, Movescount.com, where he uploads workouts, tracks fitness progress and connects globally with other online members. During the ski season, Carr will use Suunto's altimeter, barometer and compass watches to log his vertical feet hiked and skied, and to monitor weather trends for backcountry safety.
