Montana Fly Co. (MFC), manufacturer of high-quality flies, fly tying accessories and fishing gear has added Cody Townsend to the MFC Pro Team roster. Townsend is a professional freeskier and is also sponsored by outdoor brands Salomon Sports and Smith Optics.
As well as being a contributor for Powder Magazine, Townsend appeared on the cover earlier this year. He has also starred in multiple feature ski films. In this newest role, a member of MFC Pro Team, Townsend will be featured in lifestyle ad campaigns, marketing collateral and serve as a brand ambassador and spokesperson.
MFC President, Adam Trina recognizes the outdoor link between fishing and skiing. Townsend epitomizes this connection on his Twitter bio which reads, “skiing is my life, surfing is my hobby, fly fishing is my art.”
