The Conservation Alliance has created a new level of membership to recognize companies that have donated at least $100,000 annually to the organization. At Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2010, the Alliance announced the first five members of the “Pinnacle” level, which includes Eastern Mountain Sports, REI, KEEN, The North Face and Patagonia. The organization protects rivers, trails, wildlands, climbing areas and hopes to surpass the $1 million mark for the first time in 2011.
