The 2010 Bike Industry Pioneering Woman and First Ascent awards are coming up and the Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition (OIWC) is now accepting nominations through mid August. The Pioneering Woman award honors women in the bike industry that have advanced the vision of the OIWC by showing their commitment to mentoring female colleagues. The First Ascent award recognizes a woman that is new to the industry who has shown promise through her potential for leadership, and this award demonstrates the vision of the OIWC by highlighting young women exhibiting skills for long-term success.
