Outdoor Industry Association Introduces New Point of Sales Tracking System
Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) has announced that it will launch OIA VantagePoint, powered by SportsScanInfo, the official research of the outdoor industry. A new point-of-sale tracking system, OIA VantagePoint will replace the current OIA Outdoor Topline with more robust, detailed weekly information about the outdoor industry.
Features of the new system include 24/7 online access to point-of-sale data from over 10,000 retail doors, in-depth monitoring of nine trade channels and analysis by eight geographic regions specifically designed for the active outdoor lifestyle market. All data will be presented in terms of the retail fiscal calendar as defined by the National Retail Federation.
